The Book of Galatians

The book of Galatians describes how many Jews felt that non-Jews who became Christians should keep the Jewish law, including the Old Testament food laws and circumcision.  This letter, however, explains that a right relationship with God is possible only through faith in Yeshua-Jesus Christ, and nothing else is required.

Instead of trying to follow a long list of legalistic rules, followers of Christ are called to serve one another in love, and the Holy Spirit is given to help them do this.
