Isaiah Chapter 11

A shoot goes out from the stump of Jesse and a branch will grow out of his roots.
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him. The spirit of wisdom and understanding. The spirit of counsel and might. The spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
He is made to breathe in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge according to the sight of His eyes nor decide by the hearing of His ears.
But with righteousness He will judge the poor and decide with uprightness for the meek of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.
Righteousness will be the belt+ on His waist+ and faithfulness the belt+ on His heart.
Also the wolf shall live with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid. And the calf and the cub lion and the fatling together. And a little child shall lead them.
The cow and the bear shall feed. Their young ones shall lie down together. And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The suckling child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
In that day, the root of Jesse will stand like a banner for the people. The Gentiles will seek Him and His resting place will be glorious.
In that day, the Lord shall again set His hand, the second time, to recover the remnant of His people that remains, from Assyria and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Persia, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coasts of the sea.
He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the outcasts of Israel and gather together the scattered ones of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
The envy of Ephraim will depart and the foes of Judah will be cut off. Ephraim will not envy Judah and Judah will not trouble Ephraim.
But they will fly on the shoulders of the Philistines to the west. They will spoil the children of the east together. They will lay their hand on Edom and Moab. The children of Ammon will obey them.
The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea. With His scorching wind He will shake His hand over the River and strike it into seven streams and make one tread it with shoes.
There will be a highway for the remnant of His people, for those left from Assyria as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
